“You inspire many people just by being you”.
As we all enjoy the hot weather it’s easy to get caught up in party/holiday mode shenanigans. Now I am not being a “buzz killington” so hear me out…I just want you to remember to balance your playtime with your constructive hustle time.
By all means, take time out for yourself, have fun and live a little but don’t forget that the grind is 247. It doesn’t stop, Sometimes I look around and see people doing amazing things, and it inspires me to keep pushing forward. I realised I love what I do, no one is forcing me but I believe with all my heart it is necessary. I feel incomplete when I don’t express what is inside me. In the words of my wise cousin…”Don’t die with the fire inside you”…We are all here to live, love, grow, build, and be happy.

Well, Beyonce has done it again. I am at the point where I honestly don’t know how she is going to out-do herself. Beyonce plays the voice of Nala in the Lion King remake (2019). The icon produced a soundtrack inspired by the film which features some of the biggest acts on the African music scene. We take a look at our favourite tracks from the epic album that Beyonce describes as a “Love letter to Africa”.
British singer/songwriter Raye has been on everyone’s radar since she revealed on Twitter that she co-wrote “Bigger” for Beyonce. The song is track 1 on soundtrack “The Gift” and we couldn’t be happier for the rising star.
Over the last year, we have witnessed 3 young ladies of African-American heritage take the crown in 3 of America’s top beauty Pageants. Nia Franklin, Cheslie Kryst, and Kaliegh Garris are breaking glass ceilings and looking fantastic while doing it.
SETsquared Bristol welcomes three ‘Breakthrough Bursary’ businesses into its world-class incubation programme. Chisel Robotics Ltd, Cyber Scholars, and NORTHSTAR™ have been awarded bursaries. We are excited for the businesses now being taken under the wings of such a fantastic organisation.
