Kandi Burruss-Tucker is an American singer, songwriter, television personality, actress, and businesswoman. Kandi rose to superstardom in 1992 as a member of the American vocal group Xscape. Since then Kandi has spread her wings and embarked on a solo musical career. Kandi’s is a world-renowned songwriter and has written for several international acts including Arianna Grande, TLC for their Grammy-winning track “No Scrubs” as well as the memorable track “Bills, Bills, Bills” for Destiny’s Child, to name a few.

Music icon Kandi was the first African-American woman to win the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers’ Songwriter of the Year award in 2000. Kandi’s businesses include a chain of OLG (Old Lady Gang) restaurants, Bedroom Kandi, Kandi Koated Nights and more.

In 2018, Kandi and her group members Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, LaTocha Scott, Tamika Scott, and Tamera Coggins-Wynn returned to the stage for an Xscape reunion, touring the United States to the delight of their millions of fans.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Kandi has an estimated net worth of $35 million. She makes around $450k per season of RHOA. The outlet notes that a majority of her income comes from being a former member of the band Xscape, and as a songwriter and record producer.
