Our Mogul Monday shout goes Sir Richard Branson.

Sir Richard Charles Nicholas Branson is an English business magnate, investor, author, and philanthropist. Founder of the Virgin Group, which controls more than 400 companies worldwide. Branson desired to become an entrepreneur from a young age starting his first business, a magazine called Student when he was just 16.

He continued on his entrepreneurial quest starting a mail order company followed by his popular chain of music stores Virgin Records-later known as Virgin Megastores. Richard expanded his empire rapidly during the 80’s as he launched the very successful Virgin Atlantic Airlines & Virgin Records music label. In 2004, he founded spaceflight corporation Virgin Galactic, based at Mojave Air and Space Port, noted for the SpaceShipTwo suborbital spaceplane designed for space tourism.

Richard is second to none at marketing his businesses and over the years has become known for his edgy, out the box and often daring promotional campaigns.

Richard Branson ranks eighth among wealthiest British billionaires by net worth and in March 2000 he was knighted at Buckingham Palace for “services to entrepreneurship”.

With a plethora of accolades and achievements under his belt, he is a living legend. Motivated, Innovative, Ground-Breaking, Successful, Exciting, Forward Thinking, Energetic and Inspirational.
