On Saturday the 7th July 2018 thousands of people flooded the St Pauls area of Bristol in celebration of the St Pauls Carnival’s 50th anniversary. The area was transformed by the bright and colourful processions along with a sea of happy people. All were out and ready for a fun day filled with Caribbean food, drinks, and great music.

The day was extra special for a group of young people as they had the chance to perform on the main stages. Romany, Kalila, Xyzelle, Stripzz, Jibbzy, and Tony Bandz all came together and created the official St Pauls Carnival 2018 anthem. The creation of this track was facilitated by Aspiration Creation Elevation (ACE) and was recorded at MAESTROsound.

The track includes valued contributions from Javeon McCarthy, Tanya Lacey, DGIT Productions, Bubbles Steel Pans, Joel Bobrucki, Keith Douglas and Darren Alexander.

Their musical journey on the day was filmed and included in the official music video for the carnival anthem. The video was directed, filmed and edited by videographer KCVisulaz.

We absolutely love the song and think the ACE Youths did a fantastic job. Check out the official video below and don’t forget to share, like and comment!

The song is producxed by DGIT Productions

This track was made in-partnership with St. Pauls Carnival, Bristol Music Trust and Aspiration Creation Elevation.
