•What inspired you to start up your own Business?
What inspired me to start my own business was the connection I have with fashion and just creating in general I’ve been an artist since grade school, my abilities grew from a very young age.
- How would you describe your brand ?
I would describe my brand as personal and original. Inside and out it’s all me. All my pieces are well thought out and is doesn’t mimic any other brand.
- If you could collaborate with a celebrity entrepreneur , who would it be and why?
I would really like to work with offset or lil yachty because I feel like there the most original when it comes to style in there own way there trendsetter for there community just like I am for the people back in my home town St. louis MO.
- How is it balancing your personal life & being an entrepreneur?
It’s already a little hard for the fact im not from Georgia but when I tell you it’s worth it, the amount of growth i’ve had since i’ve moved here has been astronomical and I thank God almighty for the experience and the growth in business and personally.
- How do you feel the Internet has impacted independent businesses and entrepreneurs?
I feel like it’s a gift and a curse. Me personally I’m old school but im I feel like it opens doors for more opportunities aswell. So if you use it right it’s beneficial but if you a person that just does extremely good work and have no social media savvy now and days if hard to get yourself out there. There are people who are winning simple because of market products are average at best but because they have the followers or the best marketing and social media presence there selling out every drop.
- What is one message you would give to aspiring entrepreneurs?
Keep going and invest in yourself stay consistent.
- What is the best advice you’ve been given?
The best advice I was given is to never look back.
- What can we expect from you next?
Next Im dropping my new collection called Heaven On Earth Oct 25th which is actually my birthday. after that drop i’ll start this capsule of pieces Called Unofficial Collabs we’re i will intentionally go after high end street wear brand and designer brands and Rework there items into my own creative one of one pieces. This capsule will lead me into the spring and summer we’re i will be releasing my first collection from my very first brand i created back home back in 2010 called Kiid Vintage The collection will be called AKiidAtHeart. I also will be releasing my own home decor
- Where do you hope to be in 5 years?
In five years i hope to have my own store front that i’ve designed myself. I hope to increase in sells and on a yearly basis have my own fashion shows.
