Mogul catches up with the cosmic pop-rock trio Aliens Don’t Ring Door Bells ahead of the biggest night in UK’s music scene – the BRIT Awards 2023. ADRD’s Adam shares his fashion inspirations, outfit for the evening and a new rocking album, coming soon.<\/p>\n
A little birdie told us, you will be attending the BRIT Awards this weekend, how are you feeling?<\/b><\/p>\n
Adam: I\u2019m <\/b>very excited and privileged,\u00a0 it\u2019s been a box we have wanted to tick for some time..and it\u2019s the 30th anniversary, awesome. It’s going to be a stunning weekend. See you at the after party x<\/p>\n
Second of all, what are you going to wear?<\/b><\/p>\n
Adam:<\/b> I\u2019ve just bought a new fancy patterened suit jacket, plus some black jeans, classic yet rock n roll, I even got a hair cut. But Lucy, my wife, has bought 5 dresses, she can’t decide .. she will look stunning.. Next to me he he.<\/p>\n
Who are you the most excited to see?<\/b><\/p>\n
Adam:<\/b> Not sure really, it will just be great to see everyone there, and to have some live entertainment, everyone will be worth watching I’m sure.. no favourites here. Hoping on a Jarvis Cocker..<\/p>\n
Are you keeping up to date with all the current award shows?<\/b><\/p>\n
Adam:<\/b> Yes, of course, through our social media as well, we re-post to make sure ADRD fans know whats going on too. Many of our fans around the world won’t know how special these awards are, especially to us x<\/p>\n
There is an upcoming Fashion Week in London, how would you describe your fashion sense<\/b><\/p>\n
Adam:<\/b> I think I’m pretty up there, I like to look as Rock and Roll as I can. And I invented the new Grey hair fashion that’s out there at the moment.. Dorian just likes to look cool.. we try to be as aesthetically pleasing as we can ha ha<\/p>\n
What are some staples in your wardrobe?<\/b><\/p>\n
Adam: Y<\/b>es.. faded black jeans, my suits, lots of necklaces and scarves, a must for me on stage.. Dorian likes to grab leather jackets, and he loves his bracelets too. We try to be as fashionable as we can and still have that edge, after all, we are a rock band. But we will draw the line when skirts are a must for bands.<\/p>\n
Could you elaborate on your latest music video \u2018Big Old Nowhere\u2019, what is the backstory?<\/b><\/p>\n
Adam: <\/b>Myself and Dorian wanted to portray the essence of the song, have fun, grab everything and every opportunity you can, so if you go over to our YouTube channel, you can see, Dorian and myself just having a lot of fun, singing and dancing like no one’s watching. www.linktr.ee\/aliensdontringdoorbells<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n What can we expect from Aliens Don\u2019t Ring Door Bells this year?<\/b><\/p>\n Adam:<\/b> We have a new album, recorded, ready and going to mastering,\u00a0and we are so excited about the new music, we have more singles on the way, the next one being \u2018Amanda’. Also our 1st Album is being re-released on our New Spotify channel ‘Aliens Don’t Ring Doorbells.\u2019 More tours and lots of Summer Festival fun.\u00a0And we hope to see you all on a stage near you.<\/p>\n
