Whilst ‘ONE SUITCASE’ features addictive pop hits such as ‘SAY IT WITH YOUR CHEST’ and ‘AFTERGLOW,’ the addition of new favourites is what truly captured my attention. I was particularly drawn to the sugary synth-pop hit ‘LIPSTICK,’ a beautifully feminine anthem with more than a nod to the ’80s. ‘DANCE ‘TIL YOU’RE FREE’ and ‘NOSTALGIA’ are both exotic, fun and groove-worthy, creating an intoxicating atmosphere you can’t resist.
Renowned for her ‘energised global pop,’ ‘ONE SUITCASE’ definitely succeeds in reaching several corners of the globe. ‘SANTA MARIA’ has an addictive, Latin-flavoured rythmn, whilst ‘EXOTICA’ is rich with atmospheric, Middle-Eastern sounds. These world-pop shades are embedded in each song, merged with SHAB’s unique approach and signature smoky vocals.
Tracks such as ‘ALIVE’ introduce a hint of modern disco, with explicit lyrics to match. Mirroring the likes of ‘NAKED,’ it’s clear SHAB is truly owning her womanhood – and she’s not afraid to show it, celebrating the joy of her freedom in love, life and the dancefloor.

Capturing the moment she arrived in America alone, with all her possessions in one suitcase, this track exquisitely paints an image of uncertainty – and more than a glimmer of hope for the inspiring journey that followed. After working three jobs whilst learning English, attending University and eventually Law School, SHAB then went on to pursue her true passion: music. And the rest is history.
